[Food Review] Momi & Toy's Creperie

So yesterday, I went to Lotte Mart. I wanted to eat risotto at first (which I did in the end, but it was another story) but then decided to eat crepe instead because I craved crepes :) There are 2 creperies, if I am not wrong, in this mall. D'Crepes and Momi & Toy's. I haven't tasted crepes from the latter, and so I decided to eat there.

I looked at the menu and decided to buy Strawberry, Peach, and Vanilla Crepes which costs me Rp.45000,-. I waited for a few minutes before the crepes finally arrived on my table~
Yum yum~~
It tasted really really delicious! The crepe is really soft and the combination between straberry, peach, and the whip cream is refreshing. The vanilla ice cream has this vague taste of... cinnamon? Or maybe it is just me? The vanilla ice cream tasted good too!

Now, for the pros and cons. Of course, the crepes tastes delicious, I love the soft crepe. For the cons, the crepes costs more expensive than your usual creperies and also I personally think that their crepe selection is not that many so I hope they will add more crepes in the future. Will definitely go here again to taste another crepes ouo

[Food Paradise] Fruit Paradise Cafe, a true paradise for fruit tarts lover~

So, after I played Project Diva Arcade on Timezone Tampines, I decided to go downstairs to do a little bit window-shopping. However, before I went down with the escalator, I noticed this little cafe called Fruit Paradise Cafe. I saw the same cafe on Bedok the day before but because I was with my aunt, I couldn't really get a good look at it. It turned out to be a cafe that served fruit tarts! And because I'm such a sweet tooth, I decided to buy it.

They had this tart set that cost you SGD 9.80 (before tax) and you'll get a slice of cake (you can choose which one of course) and a drink of your choice. I chose Mixed Berries Chocolate because I love chocolate and hey! Berries 8D For the beverage, at first I wanted Ice Milk Tea but then I noticed Sangria and I immediately thought about the Sangria I drank in Spain and wondered how it would taste in the form of tea. Sangria tea, based on the menu, is a fruit tisane, a blend of apple, hibiscus, orange peel, rose hips, elderberries, an vanilla pods. The tart itself is chocolate cream based with strawberries, raspberries, and blueberries :)

Mixed Berries Chocolate Tart with Sangria Tea
I definitely didn't expect the passion fruit sauce and also the portion of the tea! The chocolate tart was absolutely delicious. The cream is nice and melted in your mouth. This is my favorite type of chocolate cake (or tart or cream or whatever). The pastry is deliciously sweet not to mention there is this some kind of light chocolate cream as one of the toppings. You know what else surprise me? There are peanuts inside the tart so it was crunch too! The sauce went great with the tart. The Sangria tea... It was a little bit sour but I like it. It reminded me of the Sangria I drank back then but without the alcohol!

All this cost me SGD 11.53 after the tax. I know that it might be seemed too expensive but it was worth it! Definitely will go back again to try another tarts 8D

My Trip to Singapore 8D

So yesterday I just went back from Singapore after my 4 days and 3 nights stay there. My goal when I went to Singapore this time (or every time I go there actually... Since the day I discovered the beauty of artbooks and the like) were to find more books on Kinokuniya and playing Project Diva Arcade, along with eating delicious foo that can be found here such as my favorite takoyaki, delicious ramen, macaroon, and etc. This time, however, I wanted to do a little shopping for myself like finding some shorts, a new sling bag, and a new shoes.

Shopping is totally... stressful... Makes me frustrated because of the things I want are expensive as hell. Or it didn't come in my size *glared grudgingly at the shoes8. Not to mention I fell down and hurt my left arm and leg hahahahahahahah orz

However, I was meeting with one of my best friends and went to Kinokuniya together after eating Yoshinoya (A question of why Indonesia still doesn't serve the salmon bowl). Oh how the temptation man! I checked the website earlier to see if there was the 'Another Note' english novel and yes they had it but they actually only had the Japanese version. Like what the fuck Kinokuniya, this also happened with Afterschool Charisma volume 8 gdi. (And then I later checked again and it now said that you had to order the 'Another Note' beforehand  but they had 'L : Change The World' in stock but I didn't see it either.... WTF.)

I was truly confused what to buy. I was faced with Amnesia Art Works II, NGE manga volume 10-12, and a NGE concept artwork book (???). After I mentally cried with how expensive they were, I decided to just buy the Amnesia one and thought that I could just read the NGE manga online... And now I was slowly regretting it because I wanted to see Karl in action.... Damn it me. Just as I did the last (sad, agonizing) check on the artbook section, I found a gem. I FOUND A GEM AND WHEN MY FRIEND GOOGLED IT, IT WAS ACTUALLY AN ARTBOOK SADFGHJKL THAT GEM WAS A NABARI NO OU ARTBOOK. I love the series even though I barely remembered the character's name now even though I still remembered the basic plot.

Amnesia Art Works II and Nabari no Ou : Liricamente
Amnesia is an otome game I never played and I only watch the anime but I bought both the Art Works collection and the whole set of fanmade buttons *ming*. The artworks were beautiful as usual and love the chibi sections near the end. So freaking cute <3 The Nabari no Ou artbook is so pretty though *slowly caress it* and I love it!

When I was in the airport, there was this Hokkaido food fair and they had this cheese that was made with cod paste and it was delicious and guess who bought it? Me 8) Also bought some stocks for my (pitiful, less delicious food) life in Jogja and chocolates, macaroons, and Portuguese egg tarts for my family. So happy that I finally found a clothes I like that was cheap enough because of the discount ; w ;

[Food Review] Lullaby Winds Anime Restaurant

So, a few days ago, I found out a new anime restaurant that was just recently opened in Jakarta. Of course, as an avid fan, I decided to go there with my family earlier this day. The otehr reason I want to go here is because they have an anime shop on the 2nd floor.

The Centro-Metro Broadway
Jl. Pantai Indah Utara 2 Blok A no. 31-32
Pantai Indah Kapuk, North Jakart
I ordered beef steak with egg and cheese sauce and plain ice Milo for my drink. I love the burger / steak (It is more a burger for me so...). While the cheese sauce is yummy, the original sauce is more delicious (I forgot what the sauce called). For me, the portion for the burger is bi enough and I considered it as cheap (Mine is priced Rp 65000,-).  Not only that, you can also eat from the mini buffet thing if you ordered any steak set. The mini buffet section has miso soup, chawanmushi, ice cream, curry, white rice, onion ring, fruits, and snacks. If you add Rp 25000,- you can also get free low drink for 3 hours.
On the second floor, they sold mainly figures like PVS, figmas, and nendoroids. However, they also sell magazines, rubber straps, clear files, and many more. Wow, I really have to resist the temptation to buy something there... Like... Those Psycho Pass OCF.... Or Starry Sky Visual & Story Book... Or those beautiful Princess of Crystal PVC ahhh.... Of course, they also have gacha machine there. There are SnK, Sonico, Infinte Stratos, and I forgot what else....  My brother bought an Iron Man iPhone case while I bought... Nothing. (But yeah... Let's save the money for my future trip to Japan.... Amen to that.)
Rivaille desk mat (?) and Eren coaster you can take home 8D
So to the pros and cons. First of all, the food is delicious and it can make you full. Second, they are cheap. I mean, they don't even charge you with any kind of tax. The only thing that I will complain is the time they took to serve me my food and also how they did some mistakes when giving us the food like they mix up the sauce etc. All in all, I will definitely go here again. It's a reccomended place to eat even if you don't like anime or manga stuffs :)

[Food Review] Michigo : Is it truly an awesome Korean food?

So today, to freshen up myself a little after studying (and also do a little re-stocking stuffs), I go to Plaza Ambarukmo and have my lunch there. One particular restaurant has perked up my interest since the first time I saw it  but haven't really got the chance to eat there. Yup, that restaurant is Michigo, a Korean 'fast food' restaurant. I'm kinda hesitant at first because Korean food is somehow related with spicy foods, but after looking at the menu, I decided I will give it a try.

Because it is weekday, there were only 2 people eating there when I came. I ordered the Lunch Deal package, Honey Chicken GO! Package that consisted of rice, 3 pieces of honey friend chicken, and Teh Botol Sosro. I also ordered sugogi pajeon, a Korean pancake with egg, onion spring, beef (you can choose chicken if you want), and mozarella. After ordering the food through iPad and paying them, they gave me a reward point card. They will give me a stamp for every tray that is putted to the trash bin (?). After you collect 10 stamps, you can exchange it for a Patbingsoo. As I waited for my order, I decided to watch Korean MV on my pager, hoping they had SHINee but guess what? My pager only played a Korean animation and I quickly lost interest and played with my phone instead.

Now, to the actual review. First, the pancake. There is no consistency of taste here. Sometimes you can taste the mozarella, sometimes you just taste... nothing. Sometimes you can taste the beef and sometimes not. The pancake is too flour-y for me, like they use too much flour. The sesame dipping is a little bit sour but it helps to give taste to the pancake.... by only a little bit. Now, to the honey chicken. The honey sauce doesn't taste like honey (then again, they never taste like the honey I used to eat) but it is quite nice. The chicken pieces, surprisingly, are quite big. Well, bigger than my expectation. They have this 'sticky' texture and to be honest, I'm glad they only serve 3 pieces.

I spent Rp 63000,00 and I must say the price worth it. I was very full by the time I finished everything. It was definitely  better than Hoka Hoka Bento with its (now) expensive price and inhumane food portion (for the price you have to pay for them).

Answering the title of this post, is this an awesome food? The only other time I ate Korean food in a Korean restaurant was when I was still in Jakarta, specifically the Born Ga restaurant and of course I couldn't compare Born Ga with Michigo. But, putting that aside, is it awesome? No. But if you want to make yourself full with Korean food with a rather cheap price, you can go eat here.

Of me and occult stuffs

Recently, there is this some kind of hot news about a documentation of somebody playing Hitori no Kakurenbo (One Man Hide and Seek) and how scary it is etc etc posted on a famous Indonesian forum (Yeah, you know which one). The thing is, after I read about the experience with her Japanese sister or friend, that they didn't know the proper rules. You can't give the doll the same name with your friend or your family unless you want them to get hurt. If you don't want to be hurt badly, stab it with something sharp but not painful enough to inflict that much damage to your body. And blood? Are you fucking kidding me? If you want to play 'safe', you'll put hair or nail there, not blood. Also, with an Indonesian claimed to be stabbed by a needle. So? Why is it such a big deal? I mean hello, this game is 'old', you know what will it cause and why people make such a big deal? Now, don't get me wrong, but yeah I want to try to play this game also other games like Satoru-kun, the lift thing, and the one where we have to find a missing finger with your friends. I swear I won't play them until I achieve all my life goals (and also some of them are rather hard to do like... Public phone? Bathtub? Japanese shrine to appease the doll???)

Anyway, to the real topic, I have always love horror movie since I was a kid (but yeah, there are times when I'm really afraid of horror movies then went back to loving it). From horror, I start to love another genre, gore. My parents believe I will be a cruel heartless bastard and my classmates questioned why I like those kind of movies. I don't exactly know when, but when watching horror movies, I will laugh when anything stupid (according to me) happen while my friends and or the other watchers in the cinema scream because they were surprised or stuffs. I think this explain my fascination to cadaver when I first saw it and how it wasn't seem that weird when I said some of the muscles look like roast beef and stuff.

Because of that fascination to horror film and also my past experiences with supernatural beings (and that's another story for another day... Maybe.), I am of course fascinated with occult and urban legends and I 'fall in love' with Asian urban legend, especially Japanese (because they have some of the best horror out there, along with Thailand). I managed to play and finish a horror game on my DS, Twilight Syndrome: Kinjirareta Toshi Densetsu, and it features one of the easiest and most harmless 'games', Kokkkuri-san (Equivalent to Ouija board and also Jelangkung). Years later, Shuuen no Shiori series came out and it featured 4 urban legends (at first) : Hitori no Kakurenbo, Doppelganger, Mearry-san, and The Monkey's Paw. Thus I try to find out about the hide and seek and find a website called Saya in Underworld and guess what, I read all the blogs entry in one day. I want to try some of those 'games', like really want to. Do I know the danger? Yes, I do and that's why I vow I will only play them when I have achieved my life goals. If I were to die, it will be better if I die because of something I love. Do I wish to see those supernatural beings? Actually.. No... Not really. It's just, I'm curious... Like what will you see after you finish the game with the lift? What does Satoru-kun sounds like? The thrill I get when doing occult related things are the same when like I play roller coaster and the kinds, I love the adrenaline :)

Not going to post scary pics of this game because I'm not a jerk :v
How about me now? I had downloaded many horror games, especially RPG-maker horror games, still love watching horror movies even though I am really selective about it now, constantly reading and searching for urban legend and creepypasta, have a goal to go to haunted places, reading gore if I am bored, and of course, making a ghost/demon/whatever a mascot and also mock him and stuffs.

Am I afraid of ghosts? Hahahahahaha... I'm more afraid (and annoyed) of (with) insects.

Hello there and welcome~

Out of nowhere, I had this sudden urge to make a new blog (Thinking about it, seeing my old blog might be the trigger) so ta-dah, you're here 8) This is not a personal blog per se because I will post some doujinshi recommendations and reviews for the doujinshis I have bought, like the summary of the story and a little comment and stuffs like that. Thus, I have to warn you that the doujinshis you see here with have BL (Boy's Love) content but I might post a non-BL one. As it is BL, you might stumble with many R18 doujinshis but I can assure you that I wouldn't post recommendations for PwP doujinshi and expect me to post either angst or serious doujinshi.

For doujinshis I bought, I wouldn't give a download link nor scans because I don't want to ruin my precious babies~

That being said, I will try to post regularly but who knows *shrugs*
